Months ago, by the initiative of the President of Armenian Union of Film Professionals, several discussions were held on designing the main entrance and the square of the Cinema House, which brought us to the decision to include young students in the works.

 

As a result, the NUACA students started the works led by their vice-rector Garnik Stepanyan, head of the international connections department Arev Samuelyan, head of the Architecture faculty Armen Shatvoryan.

 

The excitement of Arev Samuelyan, the devotion of Armen Shatvoryan and the enthusiasm of the students brought us closer to the final ideas.

 

And now, after the months of work, the students of 3rd and 4th grade of the Architecture faculty, Hasmik Aramyan, Arusyak Sadoyan, Hayk Patvakanyan, Aram Nazaryan presented several ideas, in the process of which their friends Yana Arakelyan, Lilit Sargsyan and Davit Soghoyan also took part.

 

The students presented their ideas in the press-conference hall of the Union, in front of some film professionals and our friends, young architects Anahit Hovhannisyan and Davit Nahatakyan.

 

The first sketches still need to get improved, but seeing them we get the image of what it's going to look like.

 

We hope that Yerevan Municipality and the Mayor Hayk Marutyan himself will like this idea of giving our city another beautiful, green and artistic corner.
